One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Cannot say enough amazing things about Spindrift Inn! The location, staff and accommodations were all top notch and completely exceeded our expectations :) Diana (at the front desk) went above and beyond to help us secure a room at the hotel and provided great insight into how to manage the third party booking that we wanted to adjust. William, the valet, was phenomenal, attentive, kind, knowledgable and helpful -- such a great face to see each night upon returning to our hotel. 10/10 would come back again for all the reasons above and more :)

Staff excellent, especially Rocio, Will & Michelle. Surpassed our expectations for room, daily wine and cheese, and room service continental breakfast. Sitting by the fire, looking over the bay and eating breakfast is just so relaxing. Details in the decor appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very nice and helpful. We brought our bikes and they let us park in lobby and they even valeted my wife's tricycle for free in the basement. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the checkin was super easy and nice of them to let us have t he room 2 hours early! first that that has EVER happened and we really appreciated it after a 5.5 hour drive! everyone and i mean everyone was nice, the front desk, the valets, the bell hops, the food service, and the housekeepers. We really loved this place and hope to return again soon.

Staff was so amazing! S/O to the front desk lady who's name I forgot but it starts with a R. We'll call her "friend" for now! I want to also S/O Ethan who helped us with our bags and was there whenever we needed him! Thank you both for such amazing customer service! Now when it comes to the stay!... I'd like to say not having air in your rooms is kinda weird! But with all the windows we got through it! S/o to your amazing house keepers who do such a good job even tho not being asked. If I can eat my stay out of 10 it's definitely give it a 9/10! And it's because of the staff

Beautiful rooms, setting hotel lobby. Ideal location to explore Monterey and surround area. Complimentary in room breakfast nice stay to each day. Adjoining restaurant & bar next door does good cocktails and selection of drinks with views of the ocean Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in the are

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband, as part of our honeymoon trip. The hotel is stunning, with a beautiful fireplace in the lobby area. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed the wine and cheese served each day from 4:30. The room was beautiful and looks exactly as pictured on the website. It was always well cleaned upon our return. Having breakfast each morning in our room was lovely, not something we normally do and it made our experience that little bit more special.

We stayed 2 nights in Room #407 - a Deluxe Corner Ocean King w/Fireplace on the top floor. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the room did not disappoint with beautiful ocean views and window box seating to enjoy those views. King size bed was exceedingly comfy with luxurious bedding. The bathroom was very large too with lots of fluffy towels. The hotel staff were all exceedingly obliging and valet parking was very efficient. Breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of being on our own to enjoy the views at the start of our day. Our room was exceedingly quiet as we faced East over the quiet part of town and not West which was looking down the water towards the busy end of Cannery Row. We got stunning sunrise photos with the windows pushed open and we could see all the pelicans flying by in formation as well watching some seals play in the kelp in the surf just a few yards away from the hotel. After a very long drive up from Malibu that first day we walked into the room and just went WOW - the (very nice) pink champagne chilling in the ice bucket with the blue ocean views was the icing on the cake and we want to thank the staff of the Spindrift Inn for looking after us so well. The Spindrift Inn was definitely the best hotel we stayed in on this trip and Room #407 was definitely worth the splurge.
