One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

This place is amazing! The staff was friendly & helpful, the room was beautiful & roomy. Getting an ocean view room is the way to go! Wine and cheese every evening was delicious. Many thanks to William for his parallel parking assistance and all-around friendliness! My Aunt and I will definitely be staying at this hotel again!

My husband and I recently stayed at Spindrift Inn for a weekend away and we were incredibly pleased. The view from the room was magical; I spent a good amount of time watching sea otters out of our window with the provided binoculars. The location is perfect for access to a small, not often used beach, the aquarium, and Cannery Row. The breakfast in bed option was well implemented and made our days start very smoothly. The pilot light on our fireplace had an issue and they fixed it right away. Every worker was so kind, I feel like they genuinely cared about making sure we had a good stay. I left my Apple Pencil in the room and they made sure to look and then double check for it and got it back to me in a timely manner once it was located! Truly a wonderful experience.

The ocean view room is a must! Gorgeous rooms and nothing beats sleeping to the sounds of the ocean.

Booked this place for our surprise 42nd wedding anniversary. The location is perfect and romantic. The staff is on point, warm and very welcoming. There are many places to eat around. The rooms a very comfortable and I love the fact we had a city view and an ocean view at the same time. Keep this little nugget in your back pocket next time you are in Monterey. You won’t be disappointed. 11 out of 10

Staying at Spindrift Inn was breathtaking and made me fall more in love with Monterey. The location is perfect, staff was amazing and I loved the decor. My heart and soul are so grateful. Can't wait to go back!

Incredible stay & experience! We were looking for a hotel near Cannery Row in Monterey so that we'd have access to a variety of restaurants within walking distance and stumbled upon the Spindrift Inn. Service: Impeccable. They offer a complimentary simple breakfast delivered to your room on an adorable silver platter. Had a "pillow bar" to choose from a selection of additional pillows with varying firmness and fill. They offer valet parking which is handy. Room: The cozy, Bridgerton-esque room of your dreams complete with a fireplace that we used throughout our stay (Monterey gets chilly!). The windows open, and the little bench is perfect for spotting otters! (Binoculars are included with the room). The king sized bed is firm and very comfortable, while the views are top-notch and a way better value than other equivalent nearby hotels IMO. The decor is classically but very tastefully decorated, including unexpected little details like a vaulted ceiling with a skylight, marble details, and sconces galore. Location: in the heart of Cannery Row, so definitely touristy but in a cute way. A super family friendly area with tons of activities and candy stores for little ones. I can only speak for the ocean view rooms, but noise was not an issue at all. Also be sure to check out some of the nearby tasting rooms like the wine experience which is right next door!

The most unbelievable hotel. Location was excellent and the bay views were beautiful. The staff recommended many delicious restaurants. They had a wine happy hour and held a glass for us because were were a little late. They had robes for your shower needs. Valet parking for our car worked out perfectly. Breakfast was simple and brought to our room each morning. Get the fresh fruit!!!! This hotel was a highlight of our trip.

This is by far, the cleanest hotel room I’m ever been in. I’m totally shocked. The inn is adorable and perfectly located for Cannery Row fun, but what really stands out is how clean it is. My room is spotless! Also, I can open the windows and get fresh air. :)
