One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Fabulous property. Didn't use the car or turn on the TV once while there. That's saying a lot

Beautiful on the beach room. Walk to anything or just relax and listen to the waves and watch the sea lions and sea otters from your window!

From the time we arrived, we were welcomed. Staff was friendly and attentive. Service was excellent.

The hotel has beautiful bay views, wonderful service, and the rooms are comfortable, cute, and cozy. Great value for the location as well.

We had a wonderful time in an ocean side room. The room was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it!

Last minute stop in Monterey because our trip down the coast was detoured due road closures. Stopped into the Spindrift Inn and received fabulous treatment by Lauren and the rest of the staff. Our ocean front room had a window seat looking out to the water, a fireplace and beautiful appointments. Another perk...breakfast in bed was included. A must stay in the heart of Cannery Row.

We arrived after a difficult drive involving an accident, reception staff checked we were ok, advised us of all Medical services and we’re fantastic - rooms are beautiful and breakfast in bed was very welcome

Spent four delightful days at the Spindrift! The staff is super friendly! The rooms are quaint and cozy! The daily breakfast delivery and wine social in the evening are wonderful bonus amenities! The seaside ocean rooms have a stellar view. We could see otters playing in the surf and even spotted dolphins swimming by. And there is a small beach right outside! The location is perfectly positioned in the middle of all the best places in town. The aquarium is a five minute walk away and the whale watching boats at Fisherman's Wharf are only a mile down the road. There are also great seaside hikes nearby. And no shortage of yummy restaurants all around. This was my first stay but certainly won't be my last! FIVE STARS!!!

We stayed in this hotel 5 nights during our visit to Monterey. Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and prompt if you were to have a question or a problem. The breakfast in the room was just right and made us feel happy 😊😊. Thank you Spindrift and all the staff for making our stay pleasant.
