One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

This was the cutest hotel we have ever stayed in. It has an old, Victorian feel with comfortable ‘cabin like’ features. It was rainy when we checked in and it was hard to leave and go explore because we were so cozy in there! Our room even had a sauna in the bathroom!!! We found out later that there are only a few rooms with a sauna. A wood burning fireplace was really nice, as well. We really can’t say enough about this place!!! Don’t second guess it; just spend the extra money and enjoy!

I've been meaning to post a review for a few months but time as usual has been flying but I don't want to let the wonderful experience my husband and I had go without notice. We contacted Spindrift Inn a few weeks before our wedding day when we decided based on pictures and reviews that it was the perfect place to stay the week of our wedding. And we were not disappointed one bit. We arrived very late a couple of nights before the wedding coming from several hours of driving from Southern California. We were pleasantly shocked at the BEAUTIFUL show of care we arrived to. When we walked into the room we found a sweet surprise waiting for us. The bed had roses petals forming the word "LOVE" on it (see the pictures), the fire place was lit with plenty of extra wood and a bottle of champagne was waiting on the little table in the room with a rose and a congratulations card addressed to us next to it. I was in awe at how generous the management/crew were to us. True they knew we were getting married but they really went out of their way to make it super special for us. On top of this magnificent welcome, the room is very clean, charming, elegant. The service is amazing. The breakfast was delicious. I could not have dreamed of a better place to stay at on our special week. Thank you SO much! You really made our day/week!

Amazing!! We loved our stay here. The room was beautiful, clean and very romantic. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a sauna in our room. The balcony is lovely and the fireplace made it that much more gorgeous. This was one of our favorite stays at a any hotel!! I highly recommend this hotel and we be back for sure!

The room was stunning. The view was Spectacular. The customer service is second to none!! If you choose to stay here it will be the best choice you can make!! I can’t say enough about how great the hospitality is!!!

My friend Teri K took me for a long weekend celebrating my bday and I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT THIS INN! The moment we pulled up attendants were there even when we lost my friend as she was seeing where we check in! The STAFF was probably the best in the business and I don’t think I will ever stay anywhere else ever! We had breakfast overlooking the ocean and we might have made friends with the seagulls (ask for Jorge he is a sweet bird)! Sleeping with the fireplace and ocean sounds were a DREAM COME TRUE! Thank you all for being so WONDERFUL

We have stayed at the Spindrift twice now. This time we stayed longer because the first time wasn’t enough!! The rooms the view all perfect! Everyone who works there is so helpful and nice. So close to everything and the restaurant is excellent! We will be back ASAP!

We booked this stay as a gift for our daughter-in-law. She was thoroughly impressed by the beauty of the property and the friendly, helpful staff. We are so happy with what we have heard my wife and I decided we are going to spend a night or two, and we are locals. Thank you so much for making us look good, can't wait to come ourselves.

The team at Spindrift goes above and beyond to meet their guests expectations. After Covid it is apparent that every business is short handed, the team however strive to keep the levels of customer service to the best. Thank you so much team Spindrift. I’ve stayed before but this trip was special, my daughters 13th birthday and my break between surgeries for cancer. You gave us the trip we needed. I look forward to staying with you again. I first went to this wonderful inn when OJ Simpson was in the Ford Bronco and have been back at least once a year since. As the owner of a video production company specializing in coastal scenics the Spindrift long ago became our CP or command post. The rooms are stunning. The ocean views are spectacular. The staff is welcoming, warm professional, and somehow seems to remember us on every visit. On the coast we do not want to stay anywhere else!
