One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Great location. In the heart of Cannery Row. Room was nicely appointed. Loved the ambiance of the room!

I had a lovely stay at the Spindrift Inn in Monterey during Covid in the month of Oct . I was greeted with a warm smile and felt incredible safe during my stay . There was a special surprise in my room with a hand written card for my birthday . Monterey wasn't crowded at all and the hotel staff was super accommodating to all my requests . The rooms are very spacious and my favorite part of the hotel other than the comfy bed was the bay windows that overlook the cannery or you can opt for an ocean view . It's nice to sit on the window and watch the crowds and enjoy the complimentary breakfast provided . Breakfast during covid provided included an assortment of muffins , toast , fresh fruit and cheese plate , boiled egg, cereal , milk , teas and coffee . The bathroom products provided were Aveda . The location is so perfect for a easy stay in Monterey with great access to eateries , shopping , the aquarium (was currently closed ) nightlife ,etc . The recreational walk to Pacific grove or the Wharf is just a block away. It cost $32 a night for valet parking that includes in and out privileges . The hotel staff was very friendly and even took my shopping bags and chilled my wine for me . They provided ice for a cooler that my friend brought as well . If I had one suggestion is would be access to a microwave to re-heat leftovers . I didn't order room service but o did eat next door at the establishment that provides the hotels room service and highly recommend the Shrimp and lobster balls and the chocolate mousses cake . Will for sure return to this hotel on my next stay in Monterey .

We loved it! Beautiful rooms right on the water. Hotel staff all super friendly and ready to get anything you need. Lots of cool little stores and restaurants to explore right outside the hotel. We will definitely be back!❤️

Our favorite spot. We have stayed here 4 times now and love it so much!! Room 106 is our favorite so far, but, you can’t go wrong in any room. Staff wonderful too.
