One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

The hotel is beautiful and the room feels like home away from home, rather than a bland hotel room. The room has chairs in front of the fireplace and nice seating in the bay window. Both are great places to relax. The location cannot be beat. Walk out the back and you’re on a beach, walk out the front and you’re on Cannery Row. Valet was great, they took the car and took all of our luggage to the room. The manager Rocio was very welcoming and a pleasure every time we spoke to her. She must lead by example because other staff was also was friendly and helpful. Perfect 5 stars all the at around. We will definitely be coming back to stay at Spindrift Inn again.

Beautiful and Pacific make for a great time

Hotel is perfect to stay in Monterey. Room was really sweet and confortable, we've really enjoy our stay in Spindrift. We've appreciate the valet parking and the breakfast in our room (little breakfast but breakfast anyway). Next time we probably try the ocean view room. Monterey is a little paradise and can be able to stay on Cannery Row in a good hotel is really cool.

A boutique hotel located in the middle of Cannery Row, overlooking the bay with a small beach. Our room was an ocean view queen room with a fireplace. You get a continental breakfast delivered to your room every morning and if you want it, the attached restaurant does room service. You have a coffee pot (Kuerig) and refrigerator in the room, with real glasses, wine and drinking, as well as a wine opener. There is a window seat (windows open to enjoy the breeze and sound of the waves), and supplied binoculars so we were able to enjoy watching otters and seals play. Sadly no whales sight this time.

My husband and I love coming here. It is our quick, little, romantic weekend getaway, when we can’t travel too far, but need an escape. The rooms are quaint and cozy and clean. I especially love the open windows to the ocean and sitting near the fireplace while listening to the waves. They offer a complimentary, small, in-room, breakfast every morning. It’s not a full menu by any means, but is a nice little touch. Staff have always been very friendly and professional.

Corner room facing ocean gives you two bay window seats, a fireplace, Continental brekkie, and wine and cheese happy hour. Ideal location to aquarium and Cannery Row shops. Adjacent restaurant, Lalla's, very good food and a true kids menu. Location, location, location!
