One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

I loved the location and the room overlooking the beach with a fireplace was awesome.

Me and my husband enjoyed our stay. Loved the ocean view and the binoculars in the room were a nice touch. Bed was okay, pillow was nice and soft. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the complimentary wine and cheese but liked the offer. The breakfast was okay, don’t expect to get full. We walked everywhere for lunch, dinner and breakfast, it was a nice walk. We loved that it was close to everything. We would definitely stay again.

This is a remarkable place to stay. From the staff, property condition, to the location. This could be the greatest place to stay in Monterey. We can not say enough about our great experience. We can’t wait until we return.

😊 We traveled for our wedding anniversary. The staff surprised us with a bottle of wine with chocolate and a hand made card waiting for us in our room. They went above and beyond making it a special anniversary. ☹ There was nothing.

Such a beautiful location & very cute hotel with the decor & all. Loved the in room breakfast by the window overlooking the sea. Amazing view & so much calmness & serenity around. Would love to go again definitely. It’s a quaint little place & loved the vibe of the town. Seafood was awesome too

Spent a week in Monterey with my daughter. Room was beautiful and service excellent. We wanted for nothing during our stay. We loved the balcony and fireplace in our room. The staff is kind and tends to every detail. We enjoyed the walkability of the location and the view, but it was a bit noisy and touristy—minor issue on an otherwise outstanding stay. This place is older, very quaint. Our room was facing the ocean so to have that to look at daily was spectacular and the sounds of the waves crashing on shore was tranquil. Always enjoy staying at The Spindrift when we come up to Monterey. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. Wine reception hard to beat! Rooms recently went under a renovation. Worth it to spring for a balcony. In-room continental breakfast delivered on time and decent options for being complimentary. Another win for boutiques!
