One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

The view was spectacular. We could see the otters frolicking in the water from our room. Breakfast was simple, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and it is brought to your room, what a bonus!! The afternoon wine and cheese reception reminded us of how it used to be when you went out of town. We met lovely people staying at the Spindrift too. Located a few blocks from the Aquarium, surrounded by restaurants and shops. Our bed was a tad firmer that we like. But the bedding and pillows were awesome.

Excellent location. Comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast brought to your room. Spacious room with table and chairs, 2 armchairs and lovely bed. Clean Only valet parking option, but it was very efficient.

Offered breakfast in morning that comes straight to your door, beautiful views of the ocean. Ocean views: The hotel has a great staff and offers free wine during happy hour.

For our first trip to Monterey staying at the Spindrift Hotel was the best! The location is the best! Near many yummy restaurants, the beach, parks, bars, shopping, and the aquarium! We got the corner city view on the 3rd floor and it was amazing! You can open up the windows and take in the ocean breeze! We recommend this hotel for you stay in Monterey!

They upgraded our room and the ocean view was absolutely beautiful. The lady at the front desk was very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at the spindrift! We stayed here for two nights at the end of our honeymoon and it was the perfect way to complete an incredible trip. The location is phenomenal- with a short drive to Carmel, and so much to do on Cannery and a quick walk to old Fishermans wharf. The in and out ability of the valet made coming and going so convenient and for a reasonable one time charge. The staff are very accommodating, the wine and cheese happy hour is a fun way to start your evening and the rooms are charming. Definitely recommend this place! Ask for the ocean view!

We stayed at the Spindrift Easter weekend which was a cool and pretty rainy weekend but the quaint room with a fireplace made it so cozy. From check in to checkout everyone was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast delivered to our room each morning was very nice. The wine and cheese each evening was fun. The rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. We did not have a car but this location is close to the aquarium, shops and restaurants. Lots of great restaurants near by. We will definitely stay here again when we are back.
