One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Not only was the hotel room the best room we ever stayed in but the staff was awesome. I felt like a VIP with the treatment they gave us, Always with a smile. They all seemed happy to be there. The room was amazing. We could see seals and sea otters right from our window. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the fireplace. I almost hated to leave the room but Monterey is amazing.

Extraordinary ~ the view from our room was exceptional ~ It was just divine to hear the gentle sounds of the sea all evening long. After a day of exploring the rugged coastline it was nice to come back to the hotel to enjoy some wine & cheese. Such a quaint and sleepy little town. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was all marble. Loved that the shower was separate from the bathtub. A very nice touch was breakfast served to our room every morning, but if your a real hearty eater & love heavy food choices like bacon and sausage you won't get that option. We loved the light breakfast of fresh fruit, hard boiled egg, small pastries, yogurt and coffee..perfect.

The location was excellent. The staff was wonderful. We really had a great stay.

Probably the most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed at. Everyone from the valet to food delivery staff was polite and welcoming and went out of their way to ensure I had a good stay. I had a corner room on the 2nd floor with unobstructed views of the bay and beach below. The perfect setting to eat breakfast every morning and a seat by the window to read before bed with the fireplace on. I could have honestly spent my entire stay in the window seat. Prime location with everything you need to see in Monterey in walking distance. Wine and cheese from 4-6pm and complimentary breakfast delivered to your room. My only bit of criticism was timing of breakfast delivery. It was 20 minutes later my first day and within the window the second day. I’d err on the side of ordering for delivery a little earlier than you’d like it. I’d absolutely stay here again and wish my stay had been longer.

Superb location, fantastic service, and a convenient and comprehensive breakfast selection delivered to your door. Staff were friendly and accommodating, all seemed like happy people who enjoy their work. We loved our stay and will be back someday :)
