One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Right on the water at the end of Cannery Row. Corner room was fantastic. Make use of the valet parking. Staff was very helpful. Delightful little beach (McAbee Beach) on the back side of the hotel. Great view of Monterey Bay! Corner room has two long window seats (rooms 407, 307, 207).

Amazing hotel coupled with exceptional service. Clean luxurious rooms which also at the same time feel very homely. The location of the hotel is perfect for Monterey bay attractions. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Monterey

Location! Quaint. Loved the ocean view and air through windows that opened. Fireplace and window-seat were fantastic features. So comfortable. Valet parking added expense.

The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed having breakfast delivered to the room. The bed was very comfortable. The view was excellent! I liked it all. the elevator was a little slow but that is to be expected. Other than that, all was good.

Location was superb, staff super friendly and some nice additional amenities.Bed was extremely comfortable and room overall quite large. Very romantic and also peaceful overlooking the bay.

More amazing than dreamed of - I have been wanting to stay at this hotel for 30’years. My excitement was that of a child at Christmas. The hotel did not disappoint, in fact it was so much more than I expected. First, the staff are amazing. Everyone we encountered was friendly, courteous, and professional. Our room was perfect - ocean front with large windows and a window seat; fireplace with two big at chairs; a beautiful king size bed…then there was breakfast delivered to our room each morning and a wine and cheese reception each evening…I probably could write an essay on how amazing this place was..won’t be waiting 30’years to go back!

Ocean view was awesome! Listening to the waves at all night was the best! Highly recommend the king room with the ocean view. The staff was all very nice and accommodating! We were given a bottle of wine and chocolates for our anniversary. Wine and cheese in the afternoon and continental breakfast in the room in the morning. We'll be back soon I hope!

I've stayed with them many times and this definitely was not my last. The beds are so comfortable and the ocean view rooms are completely worth it. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was so friendly. Best hotel I have stayed in.

Staff very accommodating. We had oceanfront room and listening to the waves at night was relaxing. Lalla grill next door (access through the lobby) was also really nice. Definitely stay here again!

Not only was the hotel room the best room we ever stayed in but the staff was awesome. I felt like a VIP with the treatment they gave us, Always with a smile. They all seemed happy to be there. The room was amazing. We could see seals and sea otters right from our window. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the fireplace. I almost hated to leave the room but Monterey is amazing.
