One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

My wife and I stayed here as part of our Honeymoon road trip and we're so glad we picked here. A fantastic hotel with brilliant service and an incredible view from our room looking over the bay. The complimentary wine and snacks in the evening is a brilliant touch and we felt it showed the staff really do appreciate their customers. We even got a bottle of wine and a lovely written note to help us celebrate our special occasion.

Loved staying here! The staff is absolutely lovely, location is great, and rooms with a view can’t be beat! We comfortably fit 3 in a room with 2 queens. Very spacious!

Comfort with a View!

Very nice Inn. Majority of eateries and shopping in walking distance. Next visit, more time and I will go to some more places in the area. Lot of history in the surrounding areas. Definitely stay at Spindrift again.

Our riim was so beautiful and comfortable. The complimentary wine/cheese in the early evening was an awseome extra touch. The location was perfect for a visit to Monterey. The staff - especially the valets were so helpful. We asked to store our luggage for a few hours and instead they went ahead abd put it in the car for us. Would definitely stay here again.

My stay was perfect and accommodations were beyond what I expected. The staff was professional and in all my years staying at Monterey Hotels this boutique vibe is truly what I had been missing.

Get a room with a view. Absolutely gorgeous and worth it! Plan to vallet park, there arent convenient alternatives. Great romantic getaway location. Staff is very accommodating to your needs.

This is our second visit to Monterey, on our way to Big Sur for a retreat at the Esalen Center. Because of our first experience, we chose to stay at the Spindrift Inn again…for a total of three nights (one on our way to Esalen, and two nights prior to flying home). This hotel is remarkable! The accommodations are superb…right down to the bay window with binoculars to watch the sea otters playing in the ocean (my favorite activity)! The staff are incredible! When we checked out the first night, they asked if we had any requests for our returning stay. They provided chamomile tea, extra bedding, and even a couple designer chocolates with a handwritten “Welcome Back” note in our room. I highly recommend this Inn for anyone wanting a special experience.
