One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

We were here in early March 2025 to celebrate our Anniversary (wonderful stay) and again for one night in June 2025 for my Birthday (also a wonderful stay) both of those stays were in an ocean view room, which is always lovely! We were just here for one night, right after Christmas and we booked a Cannery Row room...they gave us a lovely corner room with a big balcony and French doors. I can't wait to come back for our Anniversary in late Feb/early March. The rooms are always so cozy and the feather beds so comfy! and we get the breakfast brought to our room each time we stay. We never even had to use our car this last time everything is right there and so convenient. I actually booked a different hotel to try for our December stay but ended up cancelling and booking here again because we're so comfortable staying here! The staff is always so nice and accommodating! We are officially spoiled! Thank you Spindrift Inn! We'll see you again soon!

Loved it! The view was amazing!

Loved the fireplace in the room. I liked the free wine/cheese and crackers in the evening. Breakfast in the room was great

We absolutely loved this place!! The view of the bay was unreal and we even had a nightly visitor sea lion that slept under our window.

We loved everything about our stay at the Spindrift Inn. The entire experience from the moment we pulled up with the valet and bellman to checking in with the front desk agent to when we left was all positive. The staff here is so kind and accommodating, our room was clean and beautifully appointed, the bed was very comfortable and our toddler LOVED the balcony overlooking Cannery Row. I can’t say enough positive things about this property and we will definitely be returning for future trips to Monterey! there was nothing to not like!

One the two best places we've ever stayed (the other one was in England). Comfortable, very friendly staff and just a short walk to the world-famous Monterey Bay Aquarium.

What an amazing experience! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the service was over the top from the valet to the front desk, the maid and wait staff...every single person was so nice! The breakfast was delicious (brought to our room!) and the wine in the afternoon was good too. The view from the room was amazing with a comfy bed, a push button fireplace, and clean, clean, clean with comfortable chairs and sitting areas. If you want to spoil yourself and your loved ones, book a long weekend here the next time you visit Monterey!

Love this boutique hotel. Very clean accommodations. Love the traditional decor, beautifully decorated and kept to the quaint feel of the hotel. Strategically located to walk and explore the area. The staff was amazing! It was my twins’ bday and they went out of the way to put sparkling cider on ice and write birthday cards for them when we checked in. Highly recommend. Beautiful view and was even better experience because of the attentive and wonderful staff.
