One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Vintage done right with amazing ocean views.. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Complimentary wine and cheese hour at 4:30pm and breakfast is delivered to your room. I would definitely stay here again.

We love to stay on the top floor facing the bay. They have window seats and the windows really do open up so you can hear the waves lapping down below. You can watch the ships at night and hear their bell as the boats rock while fishing for squid that surface for the lights. Continental breakfast is included and delivered to the room right on time. Great dining within steps. If you are a diver, just walk in off the beach for some great diving. We love this place. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nothing like lighting the wood burning fireplace and opening a bottle of wine. Can't wait to return.

First visit. I did not think we would find a gem like this on Cannery Row. Second floor corner room with wood-burning fireplace. Super-romantic for our 25th anniversary. The room was well-appointed, the bed perfect, the service excellent. The wine and cheese happy-hour by the lobby fireplace was warmly inviting. The front desk was helpful with local recommendations. The view of sea otters 100 yards away eating off their tummies was enchanting. The rooftop terrace had an incredible view. This is out new escape from the Bay Area. Outstanding.

Service was delightful. Room was cozy and the fireplace was a real treat. Our room was on the corner of the building facing the street but we could still see the water. We were able to open the windows and enjoy the breeze from the cushioned window seats. They brought breakfast to the room so we had a lazy morning by the fire. I'd stay here again in a heart beat.
