One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

The staff was amazingly kind, professional and customer care oriented. The room was immaculately clean and well cared for. The staff from the valet to the front desk clerks to the night auditor and maids were outstanding. Tina, the Hawaiian ancestry night auditor was engaging and truly caring of my needs and the needs of my USAF Veteran Service Dog, Cody's needs. I didn't want to leave for my medical appointment at the VA Medical Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. The Inn is in the heart of Cannery Row and a SUPER value.

Hotel is beautiful, historic, and possibly the most charming room I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. This is a place to bring a good book or a project and cozy up in front of the fireplace. The only thing is we are traveling for an extended time and the laundry services are unavailable to us because of the long turnaround time (it’s Monday and we were advised we wouldn’t be able to get laundry returned before we check out Friday). I don’t know if this is usual but it is a smaller inn so fellow travelers—plan accordingly :)

They upgraded our room and the ocean view was absolutely beautiful. The lady at the front desk was very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at the spindrift! We stayed here for two nights at the end of our honeymoon and it was the perfect way to complete an incredible trip. The location is phenomenal- with a short drive to Carmel, and so much to do on Cannery and a quick walk to old Fishermans wharf. The in and out ability of the valet made coming and going so convenient and for a reasonable one time charge. The staff are very accommodating, the wine and cheese happy hour is a fun way to start your evening and the rooms are charming. Definitely recommend this place! Ask for the ocean view!
