One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Friendly from the start. Fast efficient helpful informative staff/front desk - beautiful clean cozy classy hotel room delicious breakfast and prompt. We LOVE this hotel And will tell our friends and we’ll visit again.

Me and my husband enjoyed our stay. Loved the ocean view and the binoculars in the room were a nice touch. Bed was okay, pillow was nice and soft. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the complimentary wine and cheese but liked the offer. The breakfast was okay, don’t expect to get full. We walked everywhere for lunch, dinner and breakfast, it was a nice walk. We loved that it was close to everything. We would definitely stay again.

A nice place to stay in Monterey. The staff is lovely, the room is spacious and comfortable, and there is complimentary breakfast that they bring to the room which is a nice touch. The only con is that it is very centrally located in the "touristy" area - lots of tourist shops and okay tourist restaurants. But on the plus side, it's right on the ocean and walking distance to the aquarium, as well as starbucks (sometimes touristy areas have their perks, lol). We drove to downtown Monterey where there are some better cafes and restaurants, to carmel, and to Big Sur very easily!

Changed my check-in from 4pm to “whenever I show up” because I didn’t read the standard check in time but had a morning flight into Monterey. I was exhausted from travel and had early afternoon meetings so this was priceless. Nothing else matters.

Love this place. Fireplace, ocean, afternoon wine and appetizers. What's not to like?
