One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Every single staff member we came across was very helpful and wonderful. The room itself felt like a destination and was the coziest stay we’ve been to with the window facing the water, the fireplace, and everything else. The breakfast to the room is such a nice touch too. Can’t wait to stay here again in the future!

An absolutely wonderful stay and experience at the Spindrift. I can honestly say that I have a list of 2 hotels from all my travel experiences, that's I'd return to on a regular basis because of the quality of the hotel and experience staying there. Spindrift is one of those places. Extremely clean and updated room with comfortable bedding and furniture. My husband frequently took naps on the window seating (often dozing off while people watching). The fireplace was a great feature in the evening with a glass of wine and charcuterie plate. Staff were attentive and friendly.

What friendly hotel. The rooms are great the bay views as you would expect. I had a king ocean view, my friends had the opposite corner on Cannery Row with a balcony. We were both delighted. The most amazing thing is the afternoon wine and cheese. Many places advertise this but it is normally very empty. Not here. The lobby is full, the atmosphere very welcoming. We chatted with many people from various parts of the world. I highly recommend this hotel and have two further visits booked.

Great place to stay, loved the ambiance with the ocean right outside your window. The aquarium was very close, shopping everywhere and the food choices were many.

In the middle of everything. Everything was perfect.

Spent 2 days here and got the room with the ocean view. The staff was really nice and helpful. This hotel is also about a 5 min walk to the aquarium which is where I spent one of my days.
