One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

I first went to this wonderful inn when OJ Simpson was in the Ford Bronco and have been back at least once a year since. As the owner of a video production company specializing in coastal scenics the Spindrift long ago became our CP or command post. The rooms are stunning. The ocean views are spectacular. The staff is welcoming, warm professional, and somehow seems to remember us on every visit. On the coast we do not want to stay anywhere else!

This is the most absolutely wonderful friendly hotel to spend a vacation. The staff especially, Stephanie and RobbAnn, Make you feel so welcome and make sure your stay is very memorable we've been coming for over 30 years.

I love this hotel!!! It has been about 25 years since we stayed the last time and it was just as wonderful as the first time. When I knew we would be in Monterrey I immediately knew where we would stay!! It is literally right on the beach. Windows that open so you can hear the waves. If it is chilly put on the fireplace and leave the window open!!! So serene and relaxing. The staff is friendly and there are restaurants and shops within walking distance and a nice eatery next door to the hotel. Don't miss this place!!

Excellent, cheerful and attentive staff, comfortable beds, clean room and the best view (oceanside). Walls and doors are thick enough we didn't hear other guests, and had a great night sleep.

The staff is top notch! The rooms are comfortable and the view was amazing. We will definitely stay here again, mostly because the staff took such great care of us.
