Great location, clean rooms, had complimentary wine before 6pm. You can save money on parking though, if you find your own parking otherwise its $32. The meters are free after 8pm. Walking distance to the aquarium.

Charming hotel. A bit dated but a perfect location. Great service with friendly personnel.i would stay here again. Definitely choose the ocean side.

My only go to place to stay for my wife and I when in Monterey

We came here minimooning and this was the perfect spot! This is a romantic boutique hotel and we enjoyed the location, service, wine reception, staff, and continental breakfast. The rooms are beautifully decorated in Victorian decor. We also enjoyed rhe proximity to Cannery Row! The mattress was firm and not over worn. The only con was the toilet seat sits low and their is low water pressure. Love, love, love this place!
