One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

I've been meaning to post a review for a few months but time as usual has been flying but I don't want to let the wonderful experience my husband and I had go without notice. We contacted Spindrift Inn a few weeks before our wedding day when we decided based on pictures and reviews that it was the perfect place to stay the week of our wedding. And we were not disappointed one bit. We arrived very late a couple of nights before the wedding coming from several hours of driving from Southern California. We were pleasantly shocked at the BEAUTIFUL show of care we arrived to. When we walked into the room we found a sweet surprise waiting for us. The bed had roses petals forming the word "LOVE" on it (see the pictures), the fire place was lit with plenty of extra wood and a bottle of champagne was waiting on the little table in the room with a rose and a congratulations card addressed to us next to it. I was in awe at how generous the management/crew were to us. True they knew we were getting married but they really went out of their way to make it super special for us. On top of this magnificent welcome, the room is very clean, charming, elegant. The service is amazing. The breakfast was delicious. I could not have dreamed of a better place to stay at on our special week. Thank you SO much! You really made our day/week!

Breakfast in camera, perfetto ed abbondante, sempre con vista sull'oceano. Alla mattina presto, due passi in spiaggia, e chiacchere con altre persone incontrate, ma in tre lingue diverse.

The hotel is well located in the more historic part of cannery row. Building seems old but well renovated. When you walk into the room, you’re welcomed by beautiful decor ! . We stayed in an ocean view room and it’s worth every penny. The hotel is built above the beach and the waves were crashing below us and could be easily be heard throughout the room. The room came with wine glasses and a corkscrew , which helped us enjoyed our ocean view with some wine. The biggest surprise was that the fireplaces are actually fully functional ! We enjoyed watching TV by the fire and also listening to the waves. Our stay was magical !

Wonderful hotel!! Staff is very courteous! It's perfect location on Cannery Row is close to stores, restaurants, etc. We stayed in Room 411...it has a sauna and a fireplace! We will stay here again!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel during a Route One road trip from Southern California, north. We absolutely fell in love with this quaint little inn. From the front desk agents, to the view from our room, we enjoyed this stay thoroughly and will definitely be back. Half the charm of the hotel comes from the way the hotel is decorated. The in-room breakfast delivery in the morning was an added perk that we were unaware of. Thank you! See you next time we are in the area!
