One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Great hotel, wonderful staff. Oceanfront room with fireplace was great. Definitely stay here again.

Location was superb, staff super friendly and some nice additional amenities.Bed was extremely comfortable and room overall quite large. Very romantic and also peaceful overlooking the bay.

Stayed here for 1 night driving from Palm Springs to San Francisco with my boyfriend. The view of our room was stunning, the room was spotless, the staff was super nice and helpful, great location- we had some yummy deserts at Giradelli that was just a short walk away. The bed was so comfy and very romantic. Loved all the pillows. The bathroom was huge too. We loved the room so much - we ordered food in and ate inside to watch the waves and boats from our window. The breakfast in the morning was perfect too - thank you Spindrift for the stay!

The location is very convenient, facing the sea, there are many restaurants on the right side, after 4 o'clock, there are afternoon tea with snacks and red wine, free of charge. Breakfast is simply delivered to the room, coffee and fruit are good. Parking charges apply.

Beautiful spacious room. Overlooking the Monterey Bay. Front Desk person was friendly and even though we were there early, held our bags so we could walk around. Nice wine & cheese hour each evening.

This property was in a great location. The cleaning staff were awesome, everything spotless. The Inn staff were friendly and very helpful in recommendations when asked. I loved the complimentary breakfast service (even though it was a little redundant( the change in fresh fruit and pastries were nice, though, and everything was good). The restaurant they contracted with next door that provided the breakfast service (as they have no kitchen)is excellent for lunch and dinner. Although there were numerous places to eat in the area.I liked choosing my own time for breakfast and they were always punctual. I loved the complimentary wine, cheese/crax, with nuts and dried fruit at 4:30 daily. We tended to really look forward to it. I honestly can't say there was anything I would complain about however parking would have been nice. They only had valet for a price of course, but it was fairly reasonable and convenient. I highly recommend The Spindrift Inn.

Easy to walk to anything on Cannery Row. Cute room with fireplace and window looking out onto Cannery Row. Happy hour and nice staff.

This quaint hotel has lots of character! It’s an older building but well maintained. The staff was very friendly, and the afternoon wine and cheese reception was a nice touch and much appreciated after a long travel day. We arrived early, and they were happy to store our luggage until our room was ready so we could do some shopping in town. They also stored our luggage after checkout the next day so we could visit the Aquarium . We loved that it was centrally located on Cannery Row. Lots of shops and restaurants in the immediate area with in walking distance. We were beachfront, and I highly recommend requesting a beach view room. The windows opened to hear the ocean waves, and they provided binoculars for wildlife viewing which was amazing! We saw sea lions playing and whales in the ocean. This was the highlight of our stay! Our room was cozy with a fireplace, and decorated beautifully. They provided a complimentary continental breakfast brought to our room at our requested time. I would have liked a few more options for breakfast like muffins or bagels. And parking is valet only which was not ideal. But, All in all, it was a wonderful stay!

The stay was amazingly astonishing. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our anniversary was 1 for the books and the Spindrift was apart of the reasons why. Thank you again and we can't wait to come back!
