One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

This is our second visit to Monterey, on our way to Big Sur for a retreat at the Esalen Center. Because of our first experience, we chose to stay at the Spindrift Inn again…for a total of three nights (one on our way to Esalen, and two nights prior to flying home). This hotel is remarkable! The accommodations are superb…right down to the bay window with binoculars to watch the sea otters playing in the ocean (my favorite activity)! The staff are incredible! When we checked out the first night, they asked if we had any requests for our returning stay. They provided chamomile tea, extra bedding, and even a couple designer chocolates with a handwritten “Welcome Back” note in our room. I highly recommend this Inn for anyone wanting a special experience.

What wonderful hotel. Amazing views. The hotel staff was accommodating. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. I want to take them home.

We stay at the Spindrift when we come to Monterey and wouldn't stay anywhere else. It is the most beautiful Hotel on Cannery Row. The staff is amazing and the views are breath taking. We LOVE this place and will come here for the rest of our lives!

I have stayed here many times and it is my go to for the Monterey area. I recommend it to anyone that asks where to stay. I will be back.

A lovely seaside hotel with attentive staff and a chill vacation vibe. We enjoyed the view from the seaside room. We saw otters and seals right from the window. We also enjoyed the comfy king bed. The staff was very kind and accommodating and the room was very clean. We walked easily to the aquarium. I recommend visiting the aquarium on a weekday. So peaceful and fun. There is nothing I didn't like.

Great location, super cute, and they thought of every detail. Bell boys/valet were great!!
