One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Spindrift Inn another lovely hotel. Best thing is location. Ocean front, Cannery Row, restaurants, shopping, beach. The staff is super nice and helpful. Hotel is a little dated in traditional styled decor. Water pressure was a little low at times in the bathroom facilities, minor issues. It is a bit expensive, even more for ocean view rooms. However to hear ocean waves crashing as you rest in your, what could be better? Surrounded by dining options, terrific terrific 👏.

We were close to everything we wanted to do. We had a corner room that provided a great view of the Cannery Row. It was great to be able to watch the street "wake" up in the morning. Breakfast was simple, but tasty.

This room had a gorgeous ocean view with window seat with pillows and binoculars for watching the otters. The staff was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious! I absolutely loved this place and would definitely stay here again and again.

Great place to stay

The inn is right on the beach. The room was comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. Staff were helpful and we loved the room service breakfast each morning. I can’t say enough good things about this gorgeous place. Highly recommend.

The bay window on the water offered incredible views where we watched whales, seals, sea lions, sea otters, and dolphins from our room!

The best view of any hotel!

Have visited twice this year. Both times have been great! Our go-to spot when visiting Monterey. Definitely recommend!

This was a very special place to stay. The staff were all super friendly. The room was nice and clean. We booked an ocean view room and it had a great view. It may seem just a tad outdated .. but I think it was charming and pretty well taken care of. I wished we had spent more time there. Also the in room breakfast was a really nice touch.
