One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Beautiful property and location! Loved the corner room!

My wife and I spent the last two nights of our honeymoon at the Spindrift Inn, and we were absolutely blown away by the experience. When we arrived, the staff informed us that they had upgraded our room. Look at the photos of the hotel - this is exactly what it looks like, yet the photos somehow don't do it justice - our room was STUNNING. When we walked in, we found a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us on a table next to an unbelievable view of the Pacific Ocean. They had also placed a hand-written note next to the champagne congratulating us on our marriage and wishing us a wonderful honeymoon. I had mentioned when booking that we were celebrating our honeymoon, but I never expected such thoughtful touches. We literally didn't leave the room for the next two hours. We just sat together on the window seat, sipping champagne, watching the ocean just outside our window while the fireplace crackled beside us. It felt unreal. My wife actually cried when she saw the room because she was so happy and overcome — and, frankly, that’s about the only kind of crying a husband ever wants to cause. For a man who isn't a natural planner, those tears were perfect on so many levels. Yes, this is a pricey place, but it was absolutely worth it. Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff wasn’t just professional and competent; they were genuinely warm, helpful, and friendly throughout our stay. If you're looking for a romantic getaway or celebrating something special, I cannot recommend the Spindrift Inn enough, and if anyone from the Spindrift Inn is reading this review, please let me take one more opportunity to offer a genuine THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. The room was great and service was amazing . Perfect location for a family. We will definitely return and recommend this hotel.
