One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

This was an anniversary trip. Beautiful hotel on the beach, ocean view room, windows you could open to listen to the waves, and a fireplace in the room. Service was very good. Recommendations for dinner was a small local place that was very good. The staff were very friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

This is our go-to when we stay in Monterey. We love the ocean view room, breakfast is great and we always sleep really well! The rooms are great!

We stayed here for our anniversary. The room was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. I loved our view overlooking Cannery Row. The hotel had a cozy Victorian vibe.

Other hotels have been asking us if we want service, this hotel took care of the room everyday, clean, organized and anytime we wanted extra towels or anything we got them. Everyone was kind and professional and very helpful, from the Valets to the Front desk.

We had a great stay at the Spindrift The hotel had a boutique feel and made the guests feel welcome, with lots of personal attention. All of the staff was very accommodating. Rooms were quaint & clean & adorable. The in room breakfast was so convenient & just enough to get you out the door while getting ready. The wine & charcuterie in the late afternoon was a nice treat & high quality. Would definitely stay there again & would recommend to others.

I treated myself to a suite with sea view and I will NEVER forget the view. This stands as my favorite hotel to this day, and I can’t wait to come back. It was everything I needed in my life at the end of a very long trip. The staff were extremely nice, very professional and easy going. They delivered breakfast to my room and just made me feel very welcome! Hopefully coming back next year, to the same room.

My husband and I enjoyed our time at the Spindrift Inn. We had a corner room with a spectacular view of the bay. Each morning we watched the sunrise, otters swimming around and even a seal swimming so close by. The breakfast served in our room each morning was fresh and a nice plus. Although if you are a big breakfast eater, you may want to plan for picking up something extra. The social hour each evening was also a nice plus. Wonderful cheese plater with some dried fruits, nuts and crackers along with a red and white option of wine. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. As I said above, the view was spectacular and lots of ocean life to see. The fireplace in the room added such a nice ambiance to finish out each day of exploring with a glass of wine, waves crashing out the window and the warmth of the fireplace was just perfect. We definitely will return the next time we are visiting Monterey.

Wonderful hotel! We've stayed many times and it never disappoints. It is pricey, but worth it, especially the ocean front rooms!

The hotel was right down the street from the aquarium and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We were in the king deluxe on the 4th floor and the views were amazing. The wine and cheese reception was lovely after a day of sightseeing. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The only drawback for us was it was fairly pricey but it was our 30th anniversary trip so I have no regrets
