One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Nice walking distance to everything! Little windy today and some rain.

Great room right on the ocean. Only parking is valet (USD$32/night), but it’s easy. Otherwise street parking at meters or down the street somewhere in a garage. Rooms are nice with fireplaces. We had an ocean front room and listened to the waves all night.

The staff is friendly knowledgeable and all around we had a wonderful experience, would totally recommend a stay there ♥️♥️

We have enjoyed every minute of being here. Amazing staff, extraordinary view from room, easy access to cannery row, the beach and fishermen’s wharf. Sea lions, dolphins, otters, and a host of birds nesting. Would recommend this lovely place to anyone coming to Monterey!

My family and I stayed for 2 nights for my birthday and this was by far the best hotel experience we've ever had. The staff was so friendly and attentive and the views were out of this world. We had our own beach area right next to our room which was heavenly. Will be staying again.

My husband and I stayed at the Spindrift hotel in Monterey to celebrate my birthday in April. Upon arrival we were greeted by the most wonderful staff. Diana from reception and Alex from valet took such wonderful care of us from check in to check out. The room was quite honestly breathtaking.. the views were like no other. We also loved the very special touch of the Wine and Cheese reception every day from 4:30pm- 6:00pm The location and views of the hotel, the charm and cleanliness, and as mentioned the helpfulness and personal touch of the staff made our stay truly special. The staff are always kind and considerate. We came for my birthday and they upgraded our room from cannery view to ocean view. They coordinated a fresh rose and chilled champagne in the room upon our arrival, along with two little heart shaped chocolates. Everything was clean and tidy and the fireplace plus the sound of the ocean makes my heart happy! Complementary wine and cheese in the evening, and a pretty view from the rooftop - just be mindful of the seagulls as they have no shame!
