One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Lovely and cozy. Decent breakfast and happy hour every day (included in the price). Staff is super attentive and the location is amazing. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

Probably the most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed at. Everyone from the valet to food delivery staff was polite and welcoming and went out of their way to ensure I had a good stay. I had a corner room on the 2nd floor with unobstructed views of the bay and beach below. The perfect setting to eat breakfast every morning and a seat by the window to read before bed with the fireplace on. I could have honestly spent my entire stay in the window seat. Prime location with everything you need to see in Monterey in walking distance. Wine and cheese from 4-6pm and complimentary breakfast delivered to your room. My only bit of criticism was timing of breakfast delivery. It was 20 minutes later my first day and within the window the second day. I’d err on the side of ordering for delivery a little earlier than you’d like it. I’d absolutely stay here again and wish my stay had been longer.

We can’t wait to return. It’s beautifully appointed with spectacular views…and the delivery of the complimentary breakfast to our room made all the difference. It has definitely become one of our favorite hotels.

All hotels have 3 things desired by its guests, location, cleanliness of property and quality of staffing. This hotel meets or exceeds customer expectations in all 3 areas. If you're looking for a mega resort with a gym and sauna and multiple other amenities stay at the Plaza down the street. If you want a small and exclusive Inn that makes you feel special that's right on the waterfront then this is the place for you.

We stayed there 11/2017 for 2 nights. It is close to everything, nice, clean, and the staff were awesome. We want to go back in winter so we can use the fireplace in the room (not cold enough). Would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice old fashioned hotel on the main street. Loved the fire place in the room and the wine n cheese in the lounge
