One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Spindrift Inn is beautiful no doubt about it. We celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary here. I'm very happy with the excellent service we received while here. We were in room 201. You wake up to the sound of waves crashing on the beach and various bird and sea lion music. The first night I was a little overwhelmed by all the shops and restaurants on Cannery Row. After reading some about Monterey Bay I was disappointed. But the next day we got off Cannery Row and went to Fishermans Warf and walked around the town. This was quite a bit more fun for me. I really enjoyed the time here, it's very relaxing and peaceful on the ocean view side. Nice fireplace. Just don't put too much wood in it. We put two logs in and it took hours to burn. Don't forget to check out the rooftop, great views and plenty of seating if you have time. Take your wine and cheese up to enjoy the evening if you don't find yourself making new friends. Breakfast was more than adequate with warm robes to relax in.

Went here for my honeymoon almost a year ago. The room was great, the view from the room was great, and the service was great. Really i couldn't recommend the place highly enough. I plan to come back here for the anniversary. For the sake of people reading this review i should elaborate a little. Cannery row is a nice and relaxing place to be, but you are far from any large city centers or malls. Which is perfect for my tastes, but your tastes may vary. The hotel has free wifi and valet parking. You are only a short walk from a variety of sights, stores, and restaurants.

The friendliest and most accommodating staff I’ve ever encountered. The hotel was very nice and the location superb. The breakfast was a wonderful surprise! We’ll definitely come back every time we go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row, which is usually once a year for my birthday.

My husband and I were celebrating our 2nd year anniversary. They had a personal message hand written to us and a nice gift of bottle of wine! The service from valet parking, to check in to house keeping was excellent. I sent photos to our family members if ever that way it’s a wonderful place to stay! Thank you for making our anniversary that much more special! We absolutely loved the room with the fire place and the veranda! We felt spoiled! ❤️ Breakfast in bed was absolutely amazing and was so special for us! We had never had that kind of treat before and we are in our 50s! Great shops in Walking distance! Loved all the shops enjoyed the Turkish coffee shop and treats across the street!
