One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

I stayed at Spindrift in September of 2022 with my parents and had a truly unforgettable experience. The location is outstanding and you will feel right in the middle of things. That said, the hotel has a thoughtful layout and it was easy to find peace and quiet even in the heart of cannery row. My parents stayed in an oceanview room and had a very comfortable space with a stunning view. They require ADA accommodations and the room was perfectly suited for their needs. I stayed in a cannery row room and had a lovely balcony overlooking the street. Though I was in the middle of the action, I was never disturbed by noise or light. What was truly remarkable about Spindrift was the kind staff. They made extra efforts to learn our names and assist my parents with their mobility needs. Their attention to detail was truly touching and solidified this lodging experience as truly remarkable. This is a wonderful hotel and I cannot overstate my recommendation to stay here

We cannot say enough about the wonderful stay we had here, from the staff to the food to the view to the attention to detail in everything. Thank you so much for making our birthday weekend so very special!! There was absolutely nothing that we did not like.

Personal Care and Service has been Amazing, even by the Valets.

The views are amazing and the staff is always kind and welcoming. It is our go to staycation spot that we love coming back to every year.

Right in the middle of everything that is Monterey, love the ocean facing rooms, opening the windows and getting the cool pacific breeze. Gas fireplace is awesome too for that ambiance. Staff is all so attentive and friendly-we have been coming to this hotel since the aquarium opened, so it is a family favorite for us. They are getting ready to do a room refresh for decor so that will be nice. Higher toilets would be nice too as part of the remodeling.

Comfortable, elegant room; it felt luxurious without totally breaking the bank. Sitting in front of the fireplace after a long day was exquisite. And the staff were all very nice and helpful. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay!

the staff, including housekeeping, were excellent. they were friendly and very helpful. the breakfast choices were varied and everything was fresh! we upgraded to a corner room with a view and it was great. listening to the waves night and day was phenomenal
