One of the Best Hotels In Monterey

Staff very accommodating. We had oceanfront room and listening to the waves at night was relaxing. Lalla grill next door (access through the lobby) was also really nice. Definitely stay here again!

I've stayed with them many times and this definitely was not my last. The beds are so comfortable and the ocean view rooms are completely worth it. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was so friendly. Best hotel I have stayed in.

Ocean view was awesome! Listening to the waves at all night was the best! Highly recommend the king room with the ocean view. The staff was all very nice and accommodating! We were given a bottle of wine and chocolates for our anniversary. Wine and cheese in the afternoon and continental breakfast in the room in the morning. We'll be back soon I hope!

More amazing than dreamed of - I have been wanting to stay at this hotel for 30’years. My excitement was that of a child at Christmas. The hotel did not disappoint, in fact it was so much more than I expected. First, the staff are amazing. Everyone we encountered was friendly, courteous, and professional. Our room was perfect - ocean front with large windows and a window seat; fireplace with two big at chairs; a beautiful king size bed…then there was breakfast delivered to our room each morning and a wine and cheese reception each evening…I probably could write an essay on how amazing this place was..won’t be waiting 30’years to go back!

Incredible stay, room was beautiful, front desk staff was exceptional. When we addressed a situation with a valet on our last day they addressed it quickly.

The room was small but very cute and intimate. The view over looking the street was beautiful especially with all the holiday lights and music playing in the street. They served complimentary wine and cheese in the lobby between 4-6pm I believe.

Romantic stay with my husband. The room was beautiful, and the fireplace added the perfect touch. Even though we faced the street, it was amazingly quiet through the night. Breakfast was delivered to our room and was such a treat to eat by the warm fireplace. We will definitely return!

Quinn was such a sweet person. He treated us like we were royalty. He deserves a HUGE raise!!! The whole staff was great!!!

What a special hotel/inn. We spent 6 nights here over Christmas and used the valet parking for our car. Each day we had an activity planned- the location was perfect. A clean and well appointed room with fireplace and comfy chairs. Someone put a lot of thought on how to best utilize the room and it was tasteful and cozy. The small breakfast each morning in our room was a very nice touch. The best part was the view right from the bay window with seat to watch all kinds of sea life and listen to the waves crash in.
