Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the
Whalers Cabin Museum is a cultural resource that pays respect to the area's
history and the Chinese and Japanese fishermen who lived here in the 1850s.
Converted to a museum in 1987, it now displays a collection of artifacts like
Native American jewelry, grinding mortars, Chinese fishing equipment,
photographs, models, and more. Knowledgeable docents will be on hand to put the
exhibits in context.
