What programs does the Aquarium offer?

Interactive, informative, and educational activities are offered daily throughout the Aquarium as well as daily feedings. You can see shark, fish, penguin, turtle and sea otter feedings at multiple exhibits throughout the day. The Auditorium also hosts presentations such as Exploring the Deep Sea, Journey to Baja, and Project White Shark.

Monterey Bay Aquarium is located at the end of the famous local hotspot Cannery Row, making it a vibrant hangout for families and youth alike. Ride along the scenic 17-mile drive or hike along the historic Coastal Trail. You will find Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey Museum of Art, Pacific Grove, and more local attractions nearby. The beaches are also just a minute's walk from the Aquarium.
How much is parking at Monterey Bay Aquarium?
There are no parking options for visitors inside the Monterey Bay Aquarium campus. However, you can park for free in the garages and parking lots on Cannery Row. There is a free parking space nearby at the juncture of Wave Street and Ocean Blvd. It offers a scenic walk on your way to the Aquarium. Paid parking at Monterey Bay Park, Marina Lot, and Depot Lot costs around $2.00 per hour.
