Gerry [at] the front desk was really great welcoming us. I don't know what it would be without Juliette the wine hostess. She has remembered us every time we've been there, She's quite the hostess that makes everything come together.

I picked your hotel online because it seemed to be the most romantic of the 3 or 4 I looked at and I wasn't disappointed. Your staff was incredibly nice and helpful and the continental breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese were so appreciated. I would definitely come back again… Every staffer went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed.

As always, Marlene was wonderful in handling our reservation and making us feel at home. Juliette is a true treasure, personable, capable and kind - you are extremely lucky to have such exceptional people on your staff. And, although our interactions with them were somewhat limited, Jason, Renae, and Gina were quite friendly, professional and helpful - as were others whose names I do not know (esp. our housekeeper). We have stayed at the Spindrift for twenty years, and reached our 100th night while we were there this past week. The inn is beautiful with a spectacular setting, but it is also the fine staff that keeps us returning year after year

Marlene was wonderful upon check-in …She was all smiles, and very pleasant all the time. She even called us at our restaurant to advise when our room was ready - allowing us early check-in. Paul the valet was professional, friendly and extremely prompt. He truly took pride in supporting guests in every way he could. Nick the night valet (Sun p.m.) was friendly and even offered us a free Appetizer coupon for the restaurant we were going to for dinner! Juliette is adorable and so sweet when serving us all during cocktail hour. Daniel (front desk Sunday pm/mon a.m.) was responsive and friendly and didn't act put out when I interrupted his work a few times. He joyfully treated us like we were the only ones at the hotel. We were - and always are - very impressed with the impeccable service at the Spindrift. Your entire staff hit the mark on all levels. They deserve commendations and perhaps a good bonus...all the way around… We recommend the Spindrift to all our friends as it has been a consistent pleasure for the 4 years we've been coming. The impeccable service, beautiful comfort, cleanliness, and special amenities are unmatched and superbly maintained. The Spindrift should be the standard for all other hotels. We will never stay anywhere else in Monterey. The Spindrift is our home away from home.
