“The Spindrift is my new lifetime favorite hotel! My sister and I shared a double queen room with a fireplace, and an ocean view. We chose the Spindrift "Spa Package"… The hotel and staff were amazing - beyond what we ever imagined… All of the staff at the Spindrift were great. My favorite was Patrick, the valet. Patrick has a perpetual & infectious sunny disposition, the patience of a saint, an unlimited wealth of knowledge, and an answer for every question! “My wife and I stayed in Carmel for our honeymoon 14 years ago. So when [we were] invited out for the US Open I brought my wife, and extended our stay. Your entire staff is excellent, professional, courteous, and I appreciated the grand treatment very much… The [ ] lady who served wine during your happy hour was sooooo very sweet. “[I found you though] an extensive internet search of the area. I normally stay in Carmel but decided to try Monterey. My entire family loved your hotel! Our valet/bellhop was wonderful, accommodating and very helpful as was everyone we dealt with from the front desk to housekeeping… The hotel is beautiful, our room had one of the best ocean views I have ever enjoyed. The room size is the largest I have stayed at in the entire Monterey/Carmel area. Staff is warm, friendly and willing to go that extra link. The complimentary continental breakfast was just perfect and served in our room with grace and style. The hotel location could not be better and the hotel valets knew the best shortcuts to wherever we wanted to go. From the beautiful and warm decor of the rooms to the lovely breakfast arriving at our door, and the cheerful evening wine and cheese gathering. Thanks to the kind and helpful staff it was like staying at private estate. And the location is amazing--a walk outside and you're in the bustle of cannery row or walking on the beach.
