“This was our 4th stay with Spindrift Inn, and we are certain to visit again. We enjoy being in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Cannery Row.” – 05/08/09
“I wanted an Ocean front room for a relaxing getaway, and your photos online were appealing. We wanted a luxury that was affordable… The Spindrift Inn provided us with a luxurious room where every detail was considered, from binoculars to bathrobes. The bed was like a cocoon providing total comfort. The room was very quiet except for the tranquil sounds of waves lapping the shore, an ocean view is a must. The complimentary Breakfast was lovely sitting beside our wood burning fireplace and the complimentary wine and cheese was a treat to enjoy after sightseeing and before dinner. The location was excellent as well, everything was within walking distance. We're looking forward to a return visit! If it's on the high end of your budget, it's worth the splurge!” - 04/23/09

“A few years ago, I took my 6 year old granddaughter to Monterey. She noticed this hotel along our walk to the Aquarium and said "maybe next time we can stay at this fancy hotel," (... she wasn't too fond of the "motel" with no room service where we were staying). I could not remember the name of your hotel, so I Googled the street map of Cannery Row, and found it.
[Unfortunately] my granddaughter got sick on the way there. Your wonderful front desk staff was able to check us in early and we stayed in the room almost the entire time, and still really enjoyed ourselves! My granddaughter called it a "princess room" even though she was not well. It was the best R&R ever… the best place to be if you had to be sick!! My daughter and I would take turns going out for food, caramel apples, etc... It was so convenient being to close to everything and [with] a wonderful view of Cannery Row. I even took a walk to Long's, just 3 blocks up the street, for medicine… [I] took many beautiful photos of the family near the ocean on the sand right down the stairs of our room; it was a perfect location!!! Thank you... We really appreciated [it]. Hope to see you again under healthier conditions!” - 04/14/09
